A: First off, thank you for your interest in our products and thank you for your kind offer to participate in beta testing them.
We want you to understand that beta testing plays a very important part in our product philosophy. All our products are evaluated by an internal QA (Quality Assurance) team and then sent to a group of accredited individuals with distinct hardware and software profiles for doing larger scale beta testing.
This team consists of a closed group of individuals that we have cooperated with over the past decade who have a long track record of providing us with helpful and concise reports to track down and resolve bugs in our products in a very short period of time. New members are only admitted to this group when someone from the list resigns, which rarely happens. All members are ranked according to the frequency and conciseness of their feedback and the number of iterations required to resolve a certain problem, and a lower score limit has to be met in order to stay in our beta testing team.
If you want to apply as a beta tester you must be an owner of a Prosoniq product, you should be prepared to send beta reports for all products that you’re testing at least once per week (even if they are just saying that you haven’t had any issues with the product) and you might have to agree to install specialized monitoring software that records certain mouse and keyboard events and log messages, and posts them to a dedicated server on the internet for evaluation. In turn you will have the opportunity to use and benefit from unreleased software products and provide us with suggestions and other feedback on our products. A Prosoniq software developer will be in touch with you to resolve any issues and help you with any problems that you might encounter.
If you feel that this is something you’d like to pursue please use our contact form to get in touch with us. Please email us your full name and postal address, hardware and software configuration, primary field of business and a serial number of any Prosoniq product that you own. We will then get in touch with you to assign you a beta ID, send you our Non-Disclosure Agreement for review and put you on our waiting list in case that there is currently no testing opportunity available.
Again, thank you for your interest and we look forward to welcoming you aboard our beta testing team!
