A: Our AU plug-ins require a minimum system version MacOS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) or newer, a version for 10.4 (Tiger) is provided as well. They are fully 64bit compatible and fully compatible with MacOS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and 10.7 (Lion). You will need an Intel or PPC Mac with a CPU speed of 1.5 GHz or faster.
You also need an Apple AudioUnit compatible host. AudioUnit is a proprietary Apple format and is not related to the Avid/Digidesign Audio Suite (AS) nor their Real-Time Audio Suite (RTAS) format. Note also that Steinberg’s Cubase and Avid’s ProTools are pretty much the only applications left that do not support Apple’s AudioUnit format, so you won’t be able to use our plug-ins within these applications at this time.
We have tested our products with the following AudioUnit host applications and versions. Others may work, including older versions of the hosts we support, but we recommend you try our demo versions to make sure that they work for you.
