OrangeVocoder & morph AU Compatibility Update for Ableton Live on MacOS X
Karlsruhe, September 15th, 2008 - Prosoniq bumps up the version of their award winning AudioUnit plug ins morph and OrangeVocoder 10AE to 1.2.0 and 3.2.0, respectively. This update enhances compatibility with host applications that only support AudioUnit plug ins based on Apples’ legacy “Carbon” technology, such as Ableton Live and MotU Digital Performer.
Based on a self configuring dual-mode user interface this update makes the Prosoniq plug ins fully compatible with all applications that do not yet support next generation “Cocoa” technology AudioUnit plug ins. This means that in addition to Logic and GarageBand all Prosoniq AudioUnit plug ins can now be used, without restriction, in applications such as Ableton Live 6 and 7, MotU Digital Performer and others, on both MacOS X 10.4 Tiger and MacOS X 10.5 Leopard.
This version is a recommended update for all registered users of morph and OrangeVocoder 10AE and it is available on the Prosoniq “Download Updates” page. A new demo installer is also provided on the Prosoniq “Download” page.
